Welcome and introduction

Răzvan Ariciuc

Most of us -testers- have the "Q" part in our title, Quality Assurance / Quality Control and all the other derivates. But how much of what we do on a daily basis is related to software quality and how much is related to "does it work as intendend?", still quality related but the reason we don't have the same phone, clothes, drinks is because of the "other" quality attributes. In this edition of Tester's pub we'll present, discuss, debate and tell jokes about software quality and show that quality is universal and the first step to improving it is being aware of it. Let's find the answer to "What the illity?"

Agility in your career

Oana Cîcu

I started doing what was necessary, then focused on what was possible and found myself doing the impossible. By choosing this path I discovered what agility is in my career. Do you want to find yours? Let's talk about it at Testers' Pub.

The seven ility facets of VUX

Simona Clim & Adelina Diaconu

Ok Google, can you tell us how can we measure your quality? What about you, Siri? Or you, Alexa? Wait, don't answer yet... Let's talk together about this at Testers' Pub!

Timelapses on Automation

Ralu Mihordea

TNT was created as a honey-colored yellow dye for clothes, never having the purpose to be a world-renowned explosive. Same can happen with our automation frameworks over time if we don’t pay attention. What started as a cute POC, might turn into a nightmare. I will share with you my safety net for preventing this.

Răzvan Ariciuc (Host)

With more than 5 years experience in testing, I now strongly believe that to be a tester means that you can adapt to different contexts and you bring value to the product you are working on.

Oana Cîcu

Paulo Coelho said: "Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy." This is the reason why I read a lot, got myself a cat, listen to Korean music and started working as a software tester!

Adelina Diaconu

My background in Law School, and master degree in Forensic Science made me find in testing the perfect combination between investigations and continuously learning. My strategy: analyze the evidences, create scenarios, use the detective toolbox and report the findings. The "criminals" have no chance and I get to learn a lot of new things.

Simona Clim

Is testing one of my passions? Definitely yes! Among biking, hiking, snowboarding and superhero movies, testing has its special place. It's all about exploring, precision, ideas, focus, fun and fighting the enemy (bugs, of course).

Ralu Mihordea

I’m a QC Engineer, with six years experience in the field, most of them on mobile automation but I also interacted with desktop and web applications. When I’m not testing, I get creative with tools like Photoshop and Illustrator, or in a more traditional way, painting.

Teona Rusu

My experience in testing has taught me that everywhere you look there is something new that you can learn so you can improve yourself. I like to take any opportunity that arises and to be involved in every community activity that I hear about.

Cătălin Ciobanu (Provider)

Ex-developer, today friend of testers. I take my joy in seeing great people building great things!

Flavia Bocăneț (Promoter)

Newborn yonderist, in love with digital marketing and building communities. Lucky to be a part of the second edition of Testers Pub and ready to see my colleagues delivering the coolest information.

Mircea Tutucă (Organizer)

I have tested almost all possibilities for you to enjoy this event. There are a few more bugs left, but we shall find them together.

Elena Pirtica (Organizer)

Testing, cooking... cooking, testing, tough choice. I consider the application I test as a kitchen in which there must be cleanliness, order in things, rules and specifications. And last, but not least agility, like changing the recipe, but still the result is extraordinary. I am eager to meet you all!
